    This painting is the story of a Sumatran Tiger keeping a watchful eye on her four new cubs playing amongst themselves. She has chosen a safe area for her cubs camouflaged in the leaves and under the shadow of trees not far from water.
    Sumatran Tigers are only found on the island of Sumatra in Indonesia and are the smallest of the tigers alive today. Like all tigers the Sumatran is critically endangered because of poaching and habitat destruction and there are fewer than 350 left in the wild today.

    Norman von Nida is the father of Australian golf. He started out as a young caddy, carrying the bag for a shilling or two. He was keen to learn and soon became the caddy for visiting Professional players and proved to be a fierce some competitor amongst his peers. This work of Art shows the young Norman at the Concord Golf Club in 1936 when he started to win tournaments. War came and he enlisted in the Australian Army. After World War 2 he made the long trip to England to pursue his Professional career. He walked the fairways of Europe with the Kings. Norman won more than 100 titles and was the encouraging force behind Peter Thompson and a series of great Australian players. He taught players that won all of the Major Events of the golf world.
